Robofest 2017 World Championship

Po Leung Kuk Tong Nai Kan Junior Secondary College, together with nine secondary schools and four primary schools, a total of 94 teachers, students and accompanying parents, went to Tampa Saint Petersburg Beach in the United States from 1 June to 3 June for a 3-day " Robofest 2017 World Championship " Competition and obtained impressive results .

This is an international competition, we have competitors who come from different countries of the world, including teams from 14 US States, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Egypt, England, Ecuador, France, Ghana, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Korea, Lebanon, Mexico, Singapore, and South Africa. 8 of our students participated in the GRAF (Global Robotics Art Festival) Senior Team and Roboparade Creative Robot Tour. Our students' designs are unique and creative. Their robots finally stood out to win the Championship and the Second Runner-up Award.

Our school teams had a chance to compete on June 2, 2017 at Robofest World Championship event in St. Pete Beach, Florida. The theme of the event is Tropical Beach "Surf and Sand".
One of the groups finally stood out to win the championship and the other group also won the Third Runner-up.
Over 1000 students have competed in Robofest, including teams from 14 US States, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Egypt, England, Ecuador, France, Ghana, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Korea, Lebanon, Mexico, Singapore, and South Africa.
Students visited the Orlando Science Center which has been a place that inspires curiosity and exploration.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is part of an active spaceport where our students got a chance to get closer to NASA than anywhere else on the planet.
