Assembly: Mental Health Talk and Class Activity on Peer Support

To foster peer support among students and promote mental health awareness, our school’s Educational Psychologist, Ms. Lee, has given Form 2 students a talk on how to be good companions to their friends in need. Following her practical tips, students were led by their class teachers to complete a class activity that allows them to show appreciation and support to their classmates ahead of the exam.

Ms. Lee is explaining to students some physical symptoms of stress.
Students learn basic techniques for responding to a friend in emotional need.
Students are writing the encouragement cards that will be used to decorate the classroom board.
Students enjoy the activity, and hopefully, they all receive an emotional boost!
Students pose with their cards and a small gift from the activity.
