Music Workshop for Enhancing Well-Being

To help students learn self-relaxation techniques and reduce anxiety, the Music Department, in collaboration with the Discipline and Guidance Committee, hosted a series of workshops during lunch recess in Term 1. These included Singing Bowl Workshops, African Drumming Workshops, and Glass Music Wind Chime Creation Workshops.

Through these musical activities, students effectively released stress and enhanced their inner sense of calm. The creative process inspired their imagination and improved their self-expression skills. Additionally, through physical activities such as African drumming and singing bowls, students deepened their awareness of their bodies, achieving a harmonious integration of mind and body.

This enriching experience not only fostered well-being but also promoted a lasting appreciation for the power of music.
