F.3 School Picnic

F3 class teachers and students enjoyed the school picnic in Tai Mo Shan Country Park on 9th November, 2018. Students were able to relax in an outdoor environment and spend time on chatting and getting to know more about each other.

2018-2019 Inter-House Volleyball Competition

The Inter-House Volleyball Competition was held between12th and 14th November. Kabarda House won the champion, Pegasus House got the first runner-up and Leopard House got the second runner-up.

S1 School Picnic Day

The school picnic (F.1) was scheduled on November 9 this year. All Form 1 students went to Tai Mei Tuk Barbecue Area that day. Surrounded by hills and trees, the barbecue site is a fantastic spot for students to enjoy the nature. The picnic provides a chance for both students and teachers to relax and spend time chatting and getting to know each other.

PTA Joint-School Activity Day

The PTA Joint-School Activity Day was held to foster the relationship between students, parents and teachers from TNK and SFC.Â The activity was held on 17 November, 2018. We visited the Fanling Ping Che Strawberry Farm, Kingdom of Bee and Kam Sheung Road Organic Farm. We enjoyed the lunch in a restaurant in Lau Fau Shan.Â All participants enjoyed the activity very much.

Workshops for the EdUHK Caritas Field Report Competition 2018

This year, 10 students from class 3E, 3A and 3B participated in the EdUHK Caritas Field Report Competition 2018. Two workshops were offered to the participants on 7^th November and 17^thNovermber in Tseung Kwan O and Cheung Chau respectively.

A group photo was taken in the Tseung Kwan O Study Centre of the Education University of Hong Kong.

MCNEC: A visit to Commissioner’s office of China’s Foreign Ministry

In order to develop our students' interest in Moral, Civil and National Education, an outing activity to Commissioner's office of China's Foreign Ministry was held for all the civic ambassadors on 13 Nov 2018. Students showed their interest in the development of the Commissioner's office of China's Foreign Ministry and the appreciation of the historical relics during the visit. They enjoyed this activity so much.

Students were very concentrated on the talk about ‘The Belt and Road Initiative’ and the future of Hong Kong.

Smart Car workshop and the Team Challenging Competition

Our Science team members participated in a Smart Car workshop and the Team Challenging Competition held by the HKUST on 17 Nov 2018.

Students were concentrated on the introduction of the workshop and the competition.

First Term Book Fair (2018-2019)

The first term book fair was organized by the school library from 15 November to 16 November. We aimed at cultivating reading habits among students and establishing atmosphere of reading at school. Different kinds of books were displayed, such as fiction, novel and biography etc. Students could enjoy and read the books that they like. The book fair was a great success since many students came and participated in the event.

CGC Visit: The Civil Aviation Department Headquarters

A group of students took part in a visit of the Civil Aviation Department Headquarters on November 7, 2018. They also visited the Civil Aviation Department Education Path in order to learn more about aviation development in Hong Kong and the career paths of being an air traffic controller.
