HKSSF Basketball Competition (Boys B Grade)

2017-2018 HKSSF Basketball Competitions (Boys B Grade) has been started since November. This year, we have 10 sunny and active boys in the team. Everybody is now ready to face all challenges. We wish them a brilliant result in this school year.

Students Time Keeper on PLK Primary Schools Sports Day (Shatin District)

On 1 December, 9 of our students participated in the PLK Primary Schools Sports Day (Shatin District). They were the time keepers of track events on that day. They have tried their best to perform their duties and to assure the accuracy and fairness of all races.

Time keepers were paying attention during the race.

Green Talk

In order to arouse the awareness of the students towards the carbon footprints of human, a speaker from Friends of the Earth was invited to give a Green talk for S1 and S2 students.

Students were paying attention to what the speaker was talking about the carbon footprints of human.

Life-Wide Learning Day (Computer Literacy)

36 students went to Hong Kong Science Park to have a half day to know more about the ECO Technology and Optic Fiber Technology. They had a great experience and a joyful trip.

Students learned about Professor Charles K. Kao's accomplishments.

Assembly talk (One country two systems and The basic law)

An assembly period for S1 and S2 students was held in the school hall on the topics of 'one country two systems' and the basic law. The talk proved to be very useful as students learnt about the background and history of the issues concerned and their implications for Hong Kong and its citizens today.

Students were concentrated during the talk.

MCNEC: Life-wide learning day (Visit to Civic Education Resource Centre)

Students from classes 1C, 1D and 1K had an informative and fun day at Civic Education Resource Centre on 24 November, 2017. Through the interactive games and the movie sharing session, students were able to learn more about civil responsibilty and their nation.

Students were watching a movie called “Walking to School”.

Life Wide Learning Day - Visiting Hong Kong Maritime Museum

In order to let our students learn more about the Hong Kong's maritime heritage, 3B students visited the Hong Kong Maritime Museum on 24 November, 2017. During the visit, students gained a better understanding of the history, especially the development of Hong Kong, as an international port and shipping hub.

Beijing Study Tour

All the secondary three students and 17 teachers went on a 5-day Beijing Study Tour between 12 November and 16 November 2017.

Our students and teachers visited the Palace Museum to learn more about Chinese History. They also visited the Beijing No. 3 Middle School and joined their lessons with the students there. After that, they went to the Beijing Nationality University and attended a lecture about our capital city, Beijing.

"Create Your District" Competition 2017

Two groups of Form 3 students joined the "Create Your District" Competition 2017, organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors. After attending the workshop and the guided tour led by certified surveyors, students were required to illustrate their ideal design of a designated area in Sham Shui Po District from surveyors' point of view. One group of students chose to build a Piazza in the district, allowing citizens to enjoy traditional and modern street cuisines and mini-stalls to sell accessories and handcrafts.

Students designed a Plazza for citizens to enjoy their time on weekends.
