Careers Guidance Committee: Visiting Hotel Icon

To help students explore different career paths, our college organized, on 14 May 2026, a visit to Hotel Icon, which is a teaching and research hotel established by PolyU, integrating education, research, and hospitality services in one setting. During the visit, students had an opportunity to explore the operations and behind-the-scenes aspects of the hospitality industry. They were guided by professional hotel staff on a tour of various facilities, including deluxe guest rooms, banquet halls, hotel suites, and dining areas. Students also had the opportunity to appreciate the hotel’s innovative design concepts and experience its unique charm. Overall, the activity effectively strengthened their abilities in career research, personal planning, and critical thinking.
