Career Guidance Committee: A Visit to The Chinese University of Hong Kong

In order to broaden students’ horizons and better equip them for their future, the Careers Guidance Committee organized a visit to The Chinese University of Hong Kong. During this visit, students had the opportunity to have a tour around the campus and obtained detailed information about various faculties and academic programmes. This experience enhanced their understanding of higher education options and encouraged them to set clear academic and career goals.

Stand By Me

The "Stand by Me" student-teacher bonding event was successfully launched on 30th September, filling the venue with an atmosphere of joy and connection. Students and teachers were engaged in lively conversations, sharing stories and laughter in a relaxed setting. The event was further energized by a variety of board games, where strategic thinking and friendly competition brought everyone closer together.

DGC Theme Week “Good Mood for Start of School”

To help reduce students' mental stress related to starting the new school year, the Discipline and Guidance Committee held a Theme Week titled "Good Mood for Start of School" on campus from 15 to 19 September 2025. Various activities, such as busking, game booths, and workshops, were organized to share effective methods for managing back-to-school stress with students.

Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Brigade Youth / Hong Kong Island & Kowloon Command Cadets' Inter-divisional Competition.

Our St. John Ambulance team participated in the "Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Brigade Youth / Hong Kong Island & Kowloon Command Cadets' Inter-divisional Competition" in 28th September. After fierce competition, our students showcased exceptional skills and discipline, earning the 1st Runner-up position in the Foot-drill category. Their synchronized movements and precise execution impressed both the judges and spectators alike, reflecting their rigorous training and unwavering commitment to excellence.

20250919 S2&S3 Parents' Night

In order to foster better communication and a closer relationship between parents and the school, the 2025-2026 S2&S3 Parents’ Night took place in the school hall on 19th September 2025. Our Principal, Mr. Wong Chung Ki, warmly welcomed our students’ parents, emphasizing the importance of school-home cooperation. The class teachers and parents had a meaningful sharing session afterward, hoping that through this sharing session, our students can have better learning and care on campus.

2024-25 The Prize Presentation of ‘The Joy of Reading’

To recognize students’ outstanding performance in ‘The Joy of Reading’ last academic year, the prize presentation was held on 19th September 2025. Principal, teachers and student awardees as well as other students, were all invited to attend the presentation.  There are 7 students to get the outstanding performance awards in “The Joy of Reading’. We hope more and more students enjoy reading and write the book report after reading the books.

AIMO Open Contest Final in Tokyo

Two students participated in the Asia International Mathematical Olympiad Open Contest Final in Tokyo, with one earning a Silver Honor in Grade 7. Besides competing, they enjoyed opportunities to connect with peers from various countries and explore Japan's rich culture. Highlights included visiting iconic Tokyo landmarks, spending a day at Tokyo Disneyland, and experiencing the beauty of Mount Fuji. This unforgettable experience will inspire them to pursue higher goals in the future.
