Staff Development Day

The second staff development day was held on 8th and 26th February 2021. On 8th February, a Beeswax Food Wrap Workshop was conducted by Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centre. We can reduce plastic waste by making our own natural reusable food wraps with fabric and melted beeswax. These handy wraps can be made in a variety of shapes and sizes for sandwiches, bowl covers.

This year, each teacher is assigned a professional development task like conducting an action research, writing two books with Pages for students' self-regulated study or producing five educational videos. A briefing session on Pages and Educational videos was given to new teachers. Moreover, we were honored to invite Dr. Ellen Zhang, an Assistant Professor of Department of Curriculum and Instruction in The Education University of Hong Kong, to conduct an Action Research Workshop via Zoom on 26th February 2021. Teachers can know more about the rationale and methodology for conducting an action research.
