2nd Term Parents’ Day Parents’ Educational Talk

In order to equip parents to effectively cultivate the right values in their children to promote family intimacy, the school holds a Parent’s Educational Talk “Family Relationship Level up” on 10th May (Saturday, 2nd Term Parents’ Day). 12 families join in the talk, the parents gain more information about strengthening the family relationship with their children.

An experienced social worker from Po Leung Kuk shares the topic of cultivating the right values in parents’ children to promote family intimacy.

Parent-child Activity “Make a Sensory Bottle”

In order to enable parents and students to understand stress relief methods, experience the techniques and benefits of mindfulness practices, the school holds a Parent-child Activity “Make a Sensory Bottle” on 10th May (Saturday, 2nd Term Parents’ Day). More than 30 families join in the activity, and the parents enjoy the moment of making a sensory bottle with their children.

“DIY microclimate station” Workshop

In order to equip students with practical STEM skills and environmental awareness, a DIY Microclimate Station Workshop was held on 3rd May 2025, offering a unique hands-on experience. Students built their own automated weather station using sensors and programming, explored urban climate challenges and sustainable solutions, and gained real-world experience in data collection, calibration, and analysis. They also developed technical skills in electronics, coding, and geospatial visualization.

Students learned the theory behind microclimate stations and eagerly sought to apply it in practice by building a sensor for the station.

2024-25 Joint School Staff Retreat Day

The Joint School Staff Retreat Day featured various activities at the PLK Jockey Club Pak Tam Chung Holiday Camp, including a Culture Tour, DIY Clay Pot Rice, sports, and environmental handicrafts. These activities were designed to strengthen staff relationships, enhance communication, and promote a positive school culture.

Staff members have a fantastic time enjoying Archery Tag, fostering teamwork and building strong connections.

Life Planning Workshop at Ocean Park

Students had a life planning workshop in Ocean Park, which mainly explored the processes related to aquarium care and amusement ride maintenance. Through visiting behind-the-scenes areas, there is a way to help students enhance their understanding of the work environment, and by interviewing professional teams, they will explore the challenges faced in animal care and engineering careers.

2024/2025 Signing a Sister School Contract: A 3-Day Yunnan Exploration

Our dedicated principals and teachers recently embarked on a study tour to Yunnan-Kunming, China. The primary objective was to formalize a sister school agreement with the High School Affiliated to Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Kunming, marking a significant step in fostering international collaboration and exchange.

Joint Affiliated PLK Secondary School Beijing Study Tour (2024/25)

In order to broaden the horizons of our students, Po Leung Kuk has organized the "2024/25 Po Leung Kuk Affiliated Secondary School Students Beijing Exchange and Study Tour" on 14/5/2025 - 18/5/2025. The tour offered students a wide range of learning experiences designed to foster collaboration, independent thinking, and resilience through sports and training.

Students are visiting "Beijing Shougang Basketball Club" and they are amazed at the trophy.

Rummikub inter-class competition

In order to test students' strategy and quick-thinking skills, an exciting Rummikub Inter-Class Competition is organized on March 22, 2025, by the Math Club during the CoolSTEAMaker Festival. Students showed their clever strategies and quick decision-making in intense matches, making for a thrilling and competitive atmosphere.

2425 Ningbo No. 15 Middle School Visit

In order to broaden students’ horizons and learning experiences and pursue greater understanding through reciprocal contact between our students and students in the mainland, our school has arranged ‘Sister School: Ningbo No.15 Middle School Visit’ for our students from 16th April to 19th April.

Our teachers and students were warmly welcomed by our sister school.
