Sham Shui Po Youth Cup 5-a-side Football Competition 2018-19

Our football team participated in the Sham Shui Po Youth Cup 5-a-side Football Competition 2018-19. To let more players gain match experience, we have sent two teams to join the competition. After two closely contested matches, our Team B, mainly formed by Form 1 students, bowed out in the group stage. On the other hand, our Team A successfully qualified the knock-out stage. The team played further 3 matches, which all ended in a draw and needed spot-kicks to determine the winner.

TNK Talent Show 2018

TNK Talent Show 2018 was held on 21st December 2018. Our students fully showed their talents on singing, dancing and acting. We were glad that we had Mr. Danny Cheng as our judge and gave us an excellent performance. All teachers and students enjoyed the show very much.

Sham Shui Po Enterprise Orienteering 2018

8 awardees of 2018 Sham Shui Po Students Development Scholarship joined Sham Shui Po Enterprise Orienteering in mid December. They had to complete assigned tasks in different checkpoints which were widely spread in Sham Shui Po district in limited time. During the challenge, students visited Shek Kip Mei Estate, Heritage of Mei Ho House and Garden Bakery etc.

Info Day of Design and Technology Department

The Info day of PLKTNKJSC was held on 8th December 2018. The objective of D&T projects is to encourage students to have fun while learning various STEM principles. Students design, construct and program the robots, such as Robot-boxing, Robot-Arm and Robot-football match etc.

The student is introducing the operation of robot-boxing.

Go to the Pipe Organ Education Concert

Students watched the Pipe Organ Education Concert at Hong Kong Cultural Concert Hall on 19th December. Students gained the knowledge of pipe organ and appreciated the classical works. Both teachers and students had an enjoyable time in the concert.

2A Service Learning Scheme

Students of Class 2A joined 'Let's learn to use smartphones' Communication Programme for the elderly on 4th and 11th December 2018. The students shared their experiences about using smartphones with the elderly. They gained a better experience of communication with the elderly. Most of the students and elderly enjoyed the activity very much.

2B Service Learning Scheme

Students of Class 2B visited the Comfort Court of the Senior cum Ever Green Day Care Centre for the elderly on 15th December 2018. The students played games and chatted with the elderly. They learned to have better communication with the elderly. Most of the students and the elderly enjoyed the activity very much.

Theme of December (2018) in School Library – Jin Yong Series

In order to commemorate the death of Jin Yong, the school library prepared a series of related activities this month. Firstly, Jin Yong's collections were displayed in the library for students to read and borrow. Secondly, a game-based worksheet called 'Meeting the main characters' was delivered to all students to enhance their knowledge about the book characters through emoji. Finally, a game booth was held during lunch recess on 20th December in the library. Students enjoyed to play the mini-game and won many presents with their friends.

2018-2019 Inter-House Football Competition

The Inter-House Football Competition was held between 10th and 14th December. Kabarda House won the champion, Leopard House got the first runner-up and Pegasus House got the second runner-up.

Many students and teachers came to support their House.
