Retreat Day

In order to help students relax, learn how to manage emotions, and strengthen class cohesion, the Retreat Day was held on 14 April, 2024. Art and craft workshops, class activities and Mölkky were organized on that day. It proved to be a fruitful day for both students and teachers.

MUSIC Stress Release Workshop

To help students relieve stress and enhance their well-being, the Music Department and the Discipline and Guidance Committee organized a series of lunch and afterschool workshops, including Tuning Fork, Singing Bowl, Music Therapy, Harp, Tank Drum, Cajon, and Pop-song Singing. Students thoroughly enjoyed these workshops.

The instructor is presenting the benefits of singing bowls, captivating students with interactive demonstrations and engaging content.

Careers Guidance Committee-S3 Student and Parent Talk (4): SFC Admissions Procedures and Making Informed Choices in Subject Selection

In order to help students better prepare for their future senior secondary studies, a student and parent talk was held on 21th May 2025. The talk was divided into 3 sessions: the first session was about the SFC Admission Procedures. It included SFC admissions policy in 25-26 and the important dates on promoting to S4 in SFC. The second session was a professional sharing about the tips on using the student's individual report from Life Planning Education Enrichment Program to help in subject selection. The third session was a parents meeting.

Careers Guidance Committee-S3 Student and Parent Talk (3): Post-secondary 3 Education Pathways other than SFC

In order to help students better prepare for their future senior secondary studies, a student and parent talk was held on 26th February 2025. The talk was divided into 5 parts: Introduction to the further studies of secondary 3 students, introduction to Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools (DSS), introduction of the Construction Industry Council, introduction of Vocational Training Council (VTC), and a Q&A session. The talk was fruitful with parents and students gaining a better understanding of the further studies pathways for S3 students.

Parent’s Educational Workshop: “Career Planning in the Digital Age”

In order to enable parents to understand the importance of information technology in the current and future job market, thereby helping their children with career planning more effectively, the school invites an organization to hold a parent’s educational workshop “Career Planning in the Digital Age” on 2nd June, 2025. More than 10 families join in the talk, the parents gain more information about helping their children with career planning.

Life-Wide Learning Day Event Recap (22nd–23rd May, 2025)

The two-day LWLD event at our school was packed with enriching activities, fostering cultural understanding and interdisciplinary learning. Highlights included Chinese cultural activities, film appreciation, national security exhibition visit, Chinese Martial Arts Demonstration, author talk, visit to the Hong Kong Museum of Arts, and Shenzhen and Dongguan Planning and Economic Development Exploration Trip.

Shenzhen and Dongguan Planning and Economic Development Exploration Trip

On May 23-24, 2025, the Geography and Science departments led approximately 60 Form 2 students on the Shenzhen and Dongguan Planning and Economic Development Exploration Trip organized by the Education Bureau. The study tour aimed to provide insights into Dongguan's economic development and the significance of the Dongguan-Shenzhen Water Supply Project for Hong Kong's water supply. Students developed an appreciation for water resource conservation and the importance of resource security.

Students are learning about the history of the Dongjiang water supply to Hong Kong and understanding the project's significance for the city's drinking water supply at the Dongshen Water Supply Project Memorial Garden.

2024-2025 Second Term Prize Presentation Ceremony

The 2024-2025 Second Term Prize Presentation Ceremony was held during the morning assembly on 20th May, 2025 to acknowledge and honour outstanding academic achievements of students in the examinations. The recipients of the awards were acknowledged for their outstanding dedication and achievements in their studies.

PTA Diffuser Aromatherapy Flower Pot Workshop

Our recent Diffuser Aromatherapy Flower Pot Workshop on May 16, 2025, was a delightful blend of creativity and relaxation! Participants crafted their own beautiful flower pot diffusers while learning about the benefits of aromatherapy. The session was filled with fragrant essential oils, vibrant flowers, and joyful moments of hands-on creation.
