A guided tour of the Civil Aviation Department

A group of students visited the Civil Aviation Department Education Path on February 7, 2015. Besides having a good time, they had a chance to learn about the career path of an air traffic controller.

Basic Law Forum Filming Activity

Our school was invited to participate in the Basic Law forum filming activity on 16^th February, 2015. The EDB, the organiser, filmed the discussion of the Basic Law among students (including photo-taking and shooting) in cooperation with the production house during the activity. The video will be developed into learning and teaching resources and uploaded onto the websites of the EDB after editing.

10 students joined the Forum which was held to make learning and teaching pack by filming the whole process of the forum. Students had to read Chapter 1, 4 and 6 of the Basic Law and prepare some questions to ask before attending the forum.

Mock Trial - Justice Education Project

This year, our school joined the "Mock Trial - Justice Education Project", which was organised by The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong. We hope that students can understand the capabilities and limitations of law on the protection of our right and fulfillment of social duties during the activity.

Stand By Me Tea Time Gathering (Second Term)

A tea time gathering was held by the Discipline & Counseling Committee on 6th February, 2015 (Friday). All S1 students had a good chance for an informal chat with their mentors in a relaxed atmosphere.

1P students are having an enjoyable time with Ms. Roberts.

1D & 1E Community Service

1D and 1E students visited the Richmond Health Farm and Ping Shan Halfway House on 7^th February, 2015. Students helped do farm work and playing games with the residents. They also learnt more about the daily lives of people suffering from mental and emotional distress.

The 10th Alumni AGM & Tea Gathering

The 10th Alumni AGM and Tea Gathering was held to maintain and promote unity and fellowship among the graduates and teachers. The activity was held at the activity room on 16 January, 2015. The participants enjoyed the activity very much.

2P & 2A Community Service

Students from 2P and 2A enjoyed a cheerful session on 3rd February, 2015 with the students from Po Leung Kuk Chee Jing Yin Primary School. Students facilitated the school for fitness test. Students showed their caring and concern through interacting with primary students.

F. 3 Po Leung Kuk Leadership and Discipline Training Camp

The 4-day Leadership Training Camp organized by Po Leung Kuk gave opportunities for F.3 students to learn to be independent and to have self-growth. The camping included a variety of activities: marching training, national education and field-trip challenges to develop students' leadership skills, team spirit and further foster a sense of belonging to the school and our nation.

Students are doing their best to combat the rugged path.

Final Round of HKSS Debating Competition

The final round of HKSS Debating Competition was held at our school on 15^th December, 2014. Our students who represented the affirmative side defeated the opposition side (Shun Tak Fraternal Association Tam Pak Yu College) over the motion: "Hong Kong's education system is disadvantaging males." Last but not least, we had the honour to win the championship in KLN & NTW Division II.
