Getting to know Tourism & Hospitality Industry

A 3-day Mini-Book fair was held in the Career and Education corner in the library. The selected books are mainly about tourism, hotel, airline service and languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin etc. It was a quite popular and successful event, with more than 60 participants. Different activities like understanding different occupations, occupation guessing game, and filling out the questionnaire related to the theme were arranged. Students who filled out the questionnaire could get a gift. According to the results of the questionnaire, the students have got a preliminary understanding of the tourism and hospitality industry. Most students could list three jobs related to the industry such as flight attendants, tour guides, pilots, etc.
