1. Aims
- To raise students’ self-regulated abilities
- To raise students’ sense of achievement
- To strengthen the cooperation and bridging with the Senior Form College
- To take care of students’ different developmental needs
- To provide opportunities for students to learn to communicate, to co-operate with others and in addition to enrich their life experience
- To provide opportunities for students to organize ECA to gain first-hand experience of programme planning and leadership
- To discover and develop students’ potential
- To reinforce classroom learning and allow students to put their knowledge and skills into practice
- To facilitate the teaching of certain skills and values which may present difficulties in a formal classroom
- To offer opportunities for students to broaden their social experience, to practice their social skills and the internationalization values
2. Program Plan

Cultivate students’ positive values and attitudes
1.1 To optimise the “A Student, A Duty” programme to enhance students’ sense of responsibility.
1.2 To organise showcases or exhibitions of student works or research outcomes to create a platform for celebration of learning achievements, fostering successful experiences.
1.3 To encourage student participation in sports. |
Develop students’ potential and reach higher levels
2.1 To encourage students to participate in various activities and competitions.
2.2 To organise different types of study tours that provide students with opportunities to enhance various skills including the academic ones. -Art Study Tour will be held this year.
2.3 To make effective use of the talent pool to identify students with different talents and abilities, and encourage their participation in relevant competitions.
2.4 To encourage and arrange for students to participate in music, performing arts, and sports competitions and activities, both inside and outside the school.
2.5 To review the activities organised by subjects and committees, ensuring that they cover various aspects of holistic education, such as self-directed learning, artistic and physical development, and service learning; and provide opportunities for students to showcase their learning achievements. |
Improve students’ academic performance and whole-person development
3.1 To improve students' ability to self-directed learning. We organize activities to enhance students' self-directed learning. Such as followings: 3.1.1 Coordinating Service Teams to serve students in school

4.1 Knowing students’ characteristics and ability, providing various support and adjustments by providing interest classes to develop students’ talent. 4.1.1 10-session interest classes

Strengthen student morality. To enable students to be informed and responsible citizens with a sense of national and global identity, appreciation of positive values and attitudes as well as Chinese culture, and respect for pluralism in society.
5.1 Cultivate students’ sense of national identity and appreciation of Chinese culture. Deepen the understanding of national security. We organize or participate in other activities to deepen the understanding of national security. |
